The model

Root, specification, market.

Root

Agricultural involvement at home. Fresh produce grown and branded under Orcha, which keeps us working with season, grade and handling rather than reading about them.

Specification

Every product built to the market that will sell it. Formulation, concentration, pack format, label language and price point defined by the destination.

Market

Egyptian Modern Trade and export. Own brand or private label, with documentation prepared ahead of shipment and delivery held as a contract term.

Asset light

Grove operates asset light. Production runs through contracted manufacturing under Grove specification, formulation and quality control, which lets us move across categories and formats without carrying capacity we do not need.

How a product is built

Built for the market that sells it.

The approved sample becomes the reference standard. Every batch after it is measured against that sample, not against a general standard.

  1. Step 1, Market read

Category, price point, pack format and the shelf it will compete on.

  2. Step 2, Specification

Formulation, concentration, sweetness, heat, size, label language and claims.

  3. Step 3, Trial production

Samples produced to that specification and shipped for assessment.

  4. Step 4, Approval

Written sign off on the sample, which then becomes the reference standard.

  5. Step 5, Production

Every batch measured against the approved reference, not a general standard.

Most exporters send what they make. We make what the market takes.
